Privacy Policy
1. Controller
L. Yuan, Atelierstraße 29, 81671 München, Germany — [email protected]
2. Principle: as little data as possible
This game runs entirely in your browser. There are no server accounts, no registration and no transmission of your save games to us. Save games, achievements, Hall of Fame and daily streaks are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in providing the game function). This data never leaves your device and is removed when you clear your browser data.
3. Hosting & server logs
When you visit the pages, the hosting provider (Zeabur, delivered via the Cloudflare CDN) technically processes connection data (IP address, time, requested file, user agent) in server logs. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (operation and security of the website).
4. Analytics & session recording — only after your consent
Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, USA) and Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin, Ireland) are only loaded after you choose "Accept all" in the consent banner. If you choose "Reject all", these services are never loaded and no usage measurement or session analysis takes place.
After your consent, these services collect usage data such as clicks, scroll depth, heatmaps and session recordings (Clarity) and statistical usage data (GA4). Cookies and similar technologies may be used: Google, Clarity and possibly their partners may read or write cookies and process the data listed in this policy such as IP address, device and browser information; data may also be transferred to the USA. Details in Microsoft's privacy statement and Google's privacy policy.
Our own session recording tool (recorder.js, hosted on Zeabur) is likewise only loaded after your consent: it captures abbreviated screen states (DOM snapshots) plus interactions such as mouse and touch movements, scrolling and clicks, in order to improve how the website works. No cookies are set; your save games stay exclusively in your local browser.
5. Advertising (Google AdSense)
On selected editorial pages (how to play, formations, tactics, tips, team and guide detail pages) we integrate Google AdSense. In the EU, the UK and Switzerland Google shows you its own Google-certified consent message ("Privacy & messaging"): your choice there determines whether you see personalized or non-personalized advertising — without your consent Google does not serve personalized ads. Outside these regions we only load the AdSense script after you choose "Accept all" in the consent banner.
Depending on your choice, Google and advertising partners may read or write cookies and process data such as IP address, device and browser information; data may also be transferred to the USA. Details in Google's privacy policy. You can change your advertising choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
6. Cookies & storage of your decision
The website itself sets no cookies for the game function. Your decision ("Accept all" or "Reject all") is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key 34-0-0:consent:v1 — not as a cookie and without any transmission to us.
You can withdraw your decision at any time: the "Privacy settings" link in the footer (German: „Cookie-Einstellungen") deletes the stored decision and the consent banner appears again on the next page load; in the EU, the UK and Switzerland the same link additionally opens the Google ad settings. After withdrawal the optional services are no longer loaded; cookies the services have already set in your browser may need to be removed via your browser data.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR) as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Since we keep no personal game accounts, simply email us for anything further.
8. External links
When clicking external links (e.g. Ko-fi), the privacy policies of the respective providers apply.
9. Anonymous analytics (umami)
For anonymous usage statistics we use umami (self-hosted on Zeabur, not a Google service). umami sets no cookies and creates no personal profiles: it records page views, referrer, country and device type in aggregated form. IP addresses are not stored permanently. This anonymous measurement runs without cookies and without personal profiles.
10. Feedback form
You can send us messages via the feedback form. We process your message and — if you provide it voluntarily — your email address solely to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For fast notification the message is transmitted to our notification service (WeChat Work, Tencent); this may involve a transfer to a third country (China). We delete the data as soon as it is no longer needed to handle your request.
