2. Principle: as little data as possible

This game runs entirely in your browser. There are no server accounts, no registration and no transmission of your save games to us. Save games, achievements, Hall of Fame and daily streaks are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in providing the game function). This data never leaves your device and is removed when you clear your browser data.

3. Hosting & server logs

When you visit the pages, the hosting provider (currently planned: Cloudflare Pages) technically processes connection data (IP address, time, requested file, user agent) in server logs. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (operation and security of the website).

4. Analytics (Microsoft Clarity & Google Analytics)

To improve the website we use Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, USA). Clarity collects anonymized usage data such as clicks, scroll depth, heatmaps and session recordings (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in analysing and improving our offering). This may involve cookies and similar technologies and the transfer of data to Microsoft. Details in Microsoft's privacy statement.

In addition we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin, Ireland) to statistically understand how the website is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in analysing and improving our offering). Google may transfer data to the USA; details in Google's privacy policy.

5. Advertising (content pages only, with consent)

To fund the project, ads from Google AdSense may be shown on guide pages — never in the game area. Again: personalized ads only after consent. Google processes data in the USA; see Google's privacy policy for details.

6. Cookies

The website itself sets no cookies for the game function. Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics set their own cookies for analytics (see section 4). Further analytics/advertising services only set cookies after consent.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR) as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Since we keep no personal game accounts, simply email us for anything further.
